GENERAL
APTITUDE TEST BATTERY (GATB)

The GATB was
developed in the United States in 1947. Since that time the GATB has
been included in a continuing program of research to validate the
test against success in many different occupations. Because of its
extensive research base, the GATB has become one of the best
validated multiple-aptitude batteries in existence.

The GATB is a highly developed measure of aptitudes

There are 12 tests in total,
some are paper-and-pencil exercises and some parts require
working with ones' hands

Each measured aptitude is
related to an occupation or the activity

Many employers use the GATB
to assist in finding suitable job applications who can learn to
be a positive asset to their company
The GATB is a measure
of speed and accuracy and compares aptitudes with those of the
general working population in the following areas:
